Cassandra Claire does a great job of immersing you into the world. It was so fun to jump back in and see what political shenanigans would happen. My only complaint was how long it was. There were definitely some filler moments in my opinion.

Overall I really enjoyed it and couldn’t help rooting for the couples. It was interesting to learn the magic system as well as more about the political system. This book had so many reveals. Which was a lot of fun!
