Super fun book and a unique plot. I don’t know that the danger felt incredibly serious, but I’m not sure it was supposed to so I didn’t read too much into that.

Not typically a fan of cozy fantasy but this was good! I loved the magic system and how there were actual stakes. Give me more of Bob

Very cute fantasy!! Reminded me a lot of one of my favorite books growing up, Dragon Slippers, I just loved the tone as well as the extremely specialized magic. Really enjoyed this!!
