This book is the story of Emma Lion told in journal style. I wasn’t sure how I would like that, but I did. Emma is funny, witty and strong willed. I look forward to hearing more of her story.

A fantastic start to a fantastic series! I love the inner workings of Emma’s brain and reading her version of events! So many descriptions and quips so spectacularly worded!

Very engaging plot line - but it  takes a bit of effort to figure out what’s happening, and by the time you do get your feet under you, the book is over! I’m anticipating a better time with the second book. It’s quirky, with a lovable heroine and a villain you love to hate!
