The easiest five stars I think I've ever given a Wheel of Time book. What an amazing achievement by Brandon Sanderson, and obviously deserved credit goes to Jordan for his extensive notes and pre-written sections. I just simply loved almost everything about this. It made me remember those feelings I had reading the first six books in the series. It's absolutely worth it to read to this point.

Loved it! Sanderson does a great job continuing Jordan's work. Really enjoyed this one. Fun reading.

Absolutely sensational book! Hands down the best Wheel of Time book I have read so far. Non-stop tension, action and darkness. Some absolutely terrifying storytelling and character development with a very satisfying conclusion. Brandon Sanderson has continued the legacy of Jordan phenomenally. I can’t wait to read the conclusion to this saga.

I’m still not very keen on those series, but the ending of this book and mats misadventures were fairly interesting.
Egwene’s journey through the white tower as a novice to try and unite the Aes Sedai was one of the highlights of this book, as well as the battle of Tar Avalon. I was glad to see Egwene finally being universally recognised as Amrylin. Rand was my least favourite part with his usual bullheaded, dour attitude. However the last seen of the book gives me hope that his character will improve at the end of the book.
A lot of good metaphor work and foreshadowing in this one, the pacing still feels very slow to me though.

First re-read: Yes, I cried - even more than on my first read. Obviously totally unbiased opinion but Rand's hero's journey is the best ever and not a single other one comes even close. Thank you Sanderson for giving the fans the ability to experience this culmination of the greatest character in fantasy ever. There is not a better author to have had carried Mr. Jordan's legacy.
