Ehhh, I wasn't a huge fan of this one. The premise is really cute, but I don't like how the MMC treated the FMC. And even though it seemed to be a misunderstanding, the way she went from thinking he absolutely hated her to literally crawling in his lap to make out and then take things further just doesn't sit right with me. I think to make that connection work, the book needed to be full-length.

I think Jasmine Guillory is not for me. Even in a short story format, I have zero desire to finish this.

Not to be rude, but did a middle schooler write this?

I am normally a big fan of the he falls first trope but this story just didn't do it for me. It was 40 pages long, so at least I didn't have to waste too much time reading it.

One aspect of this story that I did relate to was her teasing him over not being earthquake prepared. It truly is a foreign concept to people who are not from an earthquake area that you have to be super careful in regards to where and how things are placed around a room.

I don't have much else to say here because the story was so short and the character development was almost nonexistent. This just wasn't my cup of tea.
