I really liked this book. It left me with a lot of questions, most of which are spoilers, and so they shall go unasked. I liked exploring Qui Gon Jinn's character more. The Phantom Menace only scratches the surface of who he is. It did seem a little revisionist/made to explain away inconsistencies, which in general I do not like. I think any Star Wars movie should make sense without having to have a book, comic, or another movie to explain away the plot holes. But since it's about the Jedi and had lots of Obi Wan, I'll let it slide. Anyway, if you're a prequels fan I would say give it a shot!

I reread it and I love it more now. I have no idea what I was previously talking about, but if I can ignore past me, so can you.
