I loved this book as a kid, and enjoyed experiencing the mystery and wonder again as an adult.

I had read this series a long time ago but didn't remember what it was called any more. I'm looking forward to reading it again.

I don't know why I didn't come across this series when I was young. It has all the things I love about Nancy Drew and Trixie Belden books with the solving of a mystery. Then add in a bit of fantasy and the Arthurian legend and you have an excellent start to a series.

Given the fact that this book was written 60 years ago, it holds up pretty well, with the exception of a few racist remarks made, which can always be used as a discussion with kids about how things used to be/how it's not okay to do/say that now.

I really enjoyed this book. Such a fun cast of characters and the pacing felt just right for this tale. Glad I'm finally coming back to enjoy this series.

A boring book for boring kids. Kid adventure was promised -  kid irritation was delivered
