A reasonable overview of the issues and a good collection of techniques and resources, although perhaps a bit high-level.

Though most of this information was not new to me, I enjoyed reading it as a comprehensive overview. It's a quick, casual, accessible, informative, humorous, and important read - an exploration of how porn can play a role in your sexuality, answering many questions or concerns you may have. I hope people who hold negative views of pornography will read it with an open mind and leave it with a better understanding. If you're not new to the topic, I would still recommend it. I find there's always something to learn in the pages of a book I haven't yet read, even if it's a subject I know a lot about. (For a guide specifically pertaining to your personal sexuality I recommend [b:What You Really Really Want: The Smart Girl's Shame-Free Guide to Sex and Safety|11239754|What You Really Really Want The Smart Girl's Shame-Free Guide to Sex and Safety|Jaclyn Friedman|http://d.gr-assets.com/books/1328746912s/11239754.jpg|16165966].)

Blue starts out by getting straight to the point, and never deviates. This book is brief, but dense. It talks about why you should care about your privacy online, and offers a lot of practical advice on how to achieve it.
The book is specifically aimed at girls and women, since they are more often the target of harassment, but boys and men can learn a lot from it as well.

It's a wakeup call to how easily it is to scope out all of your private information. I love how straightforward it is, and not only does it talk about where your information may be, but there are multiple opportunities to work through locking down tightly. A fantastic, much-needed resource. Any woman on the internet needs to read this and take action where she feels it necessary. This made me rethink a lot of things.

It really is shocking, how our privacy is in danger in the internet these days. This book holds a few tips on how to stay safe online.

The language used is very plain and easily understandable, so there is no technical terminology that we have to worry about understanding. For me personally, the book did not do very much because I knew nearly all the "tricks" to stay safe already.

So I will recommend this one to everyone that needs informative basic knowledge about the dangers of the online world.

I wanted to like this more, as the writing itself was engaging and informative, but as a guide it skipped around too much and there was disappointingly little actual 'how to'. I learned of whole worlds of malice out in cyberspace I had no idea were possible, but I'm still pretty fuzzy on what I need to do to combat the baddies. I'd apologize for needing more hand holding, but that's the reason I bought the book.
