A really good and humourous read, definitely weird and often gruesome. I laughed out loud a lot, a rare thing to find comedy and satire about such challenging issues. I gave it four stars as I am still contemplating whether the end works or not?

Gruesome, bloody and hilarious? Such a strange combo, but it's pretty entertaining. The silly character names are particularly fun. A smart book and a quick read.

this book is very ambitious, and it fails to hit the mark on too many occasions

Superb in every way including the narration.

Solid 4.5 ⭐️

This was a great change of pace from my usual reading. Everett tackles heavy topics—racism, genocide, and more—via an incredibly witty and a very engaging writing style. The dialogue was funny and fast paced—made even more impressive when you consider the topic of the book.

Though it’s a quick read, it will leave you thinking for a while afterward. Super glad I picked this one up!

(Only reason I didn’t give five stars is because the ending felt a little abrupt and confusing!)
