Absolutely beautiful storytelling. Plot and characters were beautifully balanced and incredibly real; I loved the traditional Scottish cultural aspects woven into the world building. Felt like reading a newly recovered Celtic legend.

This book flowed like a river for me. And like falling in love it was slow then suddenly all at once. The last 100 pages had me reeling on the edge of my seat.
