Fascinating read. Answered a number of questions I had, in relation to the after life and purpose of life. Quite unorthodox though, borderline blasphemous if not completely. Wouldn’t recommend to conventional Christians.

The fundamentals of existence itself explained in a no-bullshit easy to read matter. Extraordinary.

One of my favorite spiritual books. When I read it ten years ago, it really shifted my perspective and brought me great solace at the time.

Semantics, semantics, semantics. Also, potentially blasphemous?

People that pick up this book are probably looking for something, at least I was. Some direction and inspirational waters to dip my toes in as a mother trying to navigate what our religious journey might become for my little one. Anywho, I did not find that here. These "conversations" with God aim to convince the reader that life's most puzzling questions are being answered through the author. I don't doubt there was self discovery for that person, but I'm not falling into or buying the overall concept.

That being said, it wasn't without trying. I pushed through, hoping for something profound or redeeming but you can only repel me so many times.

Direct quote from the book, "Illness and disease are opposites of health and wellness, and are made manifest in your reality at your behest. You cannot be ill without at some level causing yourself to be, and you can be well again in a moment by simply deciding to be."

Shame.

This book was life shifting for me. Beautiful and fully resonating with my heart. In some of the reviews I've read, people seems to mistake that this book makes the claim that we are our own God, or that we ourselves are God in the literal sense. I did not get this from these books at all, rather that we are God's love expressed in the physical. So inspiring and so deeply moving, and essentially freeing for the heart and soul.
