Betty was nice but the story ending was a little off, overall nice book.

Incredibly atmospheric, these books transport you to the island of Crowstone where the Widdershins have always lived. The middle Widdershin sister, Betty, is craving adventure and a new environment. But instead of adventure she learns of a family curse that prevents her from leaving the island... ever. This first book establishes the relationship between the sisters (Fliss, Betty, and Charlie) and the characters of each of them. The side characters compliment but do not detract from these three core heroines.
