Despite enjoying the first book in the series, I wasn't in the mood to continue with The Fae King's Dream. I might pick it up later, though.
one thing i love about fae romances is that while the struggle is so very real for that HEA - the romance is (fans self) throughout the entirety of the novel. gimmmme all the fated mates.
Whitley & Damon were two head strong, fighters & this continuation of the story was sooo well done. Damon is so angsty in Kierans books & allll that angst makes so much sense in this one.
if you love fantasy romance - READ THIS SERIES. i think about it all the time. i dream about it. i can’t wait to see what happens next.

Damon is the King of the Dream Realm. He’s also a Dream Walker, meaning he can enter the dreams of others as an observer— he can’t be seen, and he can’t interact. He can only observe.
For thousands of years, Damon has been dream walking in search of his mate, the one person who can lift his curse and grant him his sight. When he finally finds her, though, things don’t go as expected.
Whitley is in a coma when Damon finds her, having been in a tragic car accident. She’s been gravely injured, so before she can release Damon from his darkness, he has to save her life.
I really enjoyed The Fae King’s Dream. Damon and Whitley are adorable together, and their bond is strong. I also absolutely LOVE this world of Fae and fairies and gnomes and magic. This book is a standalone, but I recommend reading book one, The Fae King’s Curse, because it’s soooo good!

I was obsessed with Kirian but he has nothing on Damon because hot wow. The book blew past all of my expectations and delivered me into a world that I wasn’t prepared for.
Jamie weaved together a beautifully crafted story that will suck you in as her words build the world around you. You’re no longer sitting in your house, or at a coffee shop, but instead you’re right there in the Dream Realm as Damon and Whitley find each other and put an end to his curse.
Each and every turn of the page has you right there in the action as the pages come to life. You are feeling every emotion – crying, laughing, angry and smiling so big that your cheeks hurt right along with them.
I cannot wait to see what else Jamie delivers from this amazing world.
