Nice second installment!

Another great story!

The first time that Whitley sees Damon she is in a coma after a nearly fatal car accident, perks of Damon being a Fae king and dream Walker. Damon has been searching for thousands of years for his fated mate, the missing piece of his soul, without her his curse will never be lifted. Finally finding his mate in Whitley is only the beginning, together they must find a way to stop the coven of witches who cursed Damon and his cousins as well as set a plague one of the Fae kingdoms.

I absolutely loved the prequel story and first book in this series, this one was just as amazing! There is action, adventure, amazing steam and heartbreak all within this book. You will shed a few tears as you read. There may also be a few times you yell at the kindle that they are being an idiot, hoping the character listens to you. Absolutely five stars!

Bored me

Wowie!!
Last night I finished the Fae King's Dream and... Wow.
This book follows Damon the king of the Dream Realm and Whitley. Their first meeting happens in Whitley's dreams, when she is caught in a looping nightmare. But the real challenge begins once Whitley wakes up. A coven of vengeful witches wants them dead, and will stop at nothing until they succeed. But they have caused too much death and tragedy, and Whitley will defend her new love and friends even if it's the last thing she does.
I seriously cannot get enough of this Fae world that Jamie built. I loved the story between Damon and Whitley. Loved Damon's humanisms, even if he got them wrong. Loved Whitley's courage and bravery. And loved these two together. Tragedy may have brought them together, but they didn't let it break them. They faced many challenges on their journey, one having to relinquish control and trusting, and the other having to trust, and step up to help save each other and survive. I cannot wait to read more about this Fae world, and the third king. These books were exactly what I needed to pull me out of my funk. 4.5 ⭐ out of 5 ⭐.

My Review

3.5 Stars
This is Damon’s book and he like his cousin finds his mate in the human realm, he’s actually been looking in the wrong place all these years.
So Damon’s unsuspecting mate is Whitley and she finds herself along with her parents involved in a car accident directly caused by the witches who are prepared to do whatever to keep these two far apart.

Damon with the help of his personal witch kidnaps Whitley from the hospital and spirits her away to his home.
So this was again enjoyable though there were instances I did lose focus.
That’s the main reason I’ve gone with a slightly lower rating here as I was a bit bored at times, saying that though this was well written and I think it was mostly the instalove that caused issues for me.
As I’ve said previously it’s not my favourite thing definitely not a dealbreaker but I’m not the biggest fan of it.

This was action-packed if slightly predictable but it definitely was a feel-good sort of story.
I Liked both Whitley and Damon very much Damon was certainly full of himself but in a less arrogant more mischievousness fun sort of way while Whitley was all sass and spirit together they made a good match.

This progressed the story further and also included past characters we have come to love so that was nice.
It was dual POV which is my preferred sort and I liked the addition of dream walking.
overall this was a decent addition to the series and an easy read.
