This was disappointing after the amazing Neapolitan quartet. I never warmed to the main character nor her journey through adolescence.

Solitamente faccio fatica nei primi capitoli di un nuovo libro, nuovi personaggi, nuova atmosfera, nuova scrittura. Questa volta invece mi "sentivo a casa", ho divorato la prima parte di questo libro, c'era un che di misterioso in sottofondo, c'erano dei temi interessanti da snocciolare ma purtroppo l'ultima parte del libro si è persa in cose più banali, in una strada un po' scontata. Forse le aspettative erano troppo alte, forse non mi aspettavo una svolta del genere ma alla fine questo libro non mi ha soddisfatto e non lo consiglierò alle mie amiche.
