5⭐ oh wow just wow, this book has had me on the brink of tears for the last 25-30%. Isaiah and Kennedy are literal angels. From the previous book (caught up) I figured Isaiah was a care free funny guy but gosh I didn't expect that much of a heartbreaking back story, the whole time I just wanted to give him a hug.
I also adored Kennedy, but there were still a few thing about her that bothered me but it is more with the writing than the character herself. Kennedy is supposed to be a very timid person who isn't used to Physical touch but the scene with them in the dugout after he stormed away felt a bit too bold of her for me. She was still learning to be okay with physical tough and being imitate but out of no where it felt like she was diving in head first
