Some of the short stories in this collection were great, I really enjoyed Jim Butchers, another story focused on a teen girl moving into the elf trailer park, and a few others; however, several just drag.

I am about halfway thru listening to this book but I don't think I will be finishing. The quality of the stories varies so greatly from writer to writer.

I could see this being worth reading, as you can easily skip stories that don't interest you, but as an audio book it just did not work for me.

If you are a fan of MHI, you’ll love this book

I can’t pick a favorite story out of this anthology. Love seeing favorite characters from different perspectives. Each author gives a unique look at the MHI universe. I didn’t want the book to end

Someone took mushrooms at the rest stop in Blue Earth

A collection of assorted monsters and hunters, including some from other series, like Jane Yellowrock. As with any collection, I liked some stories more than others. A few offered a monster's perspective, which is interesting.

not my type of stories after all. Was free so who cares

All the stories are solid. Liked Kim May's story the best and then Butchers. Was surprised I liked John Ringo's story since I didn't like his first book in the world as much as I have Larry's books.

Good stuff! I love Anthologies, and this one has several A+ authors writing stories for Larry Correia's Monster Hunter Universe. Not a bad one in the bunch, though some were better than others.

LOVED the Franks' story at the end!

I got tired of all monsters all the time. Individually each story was pretty good, but it just got boring reading one short story after another, all on the same or similar topic.

Fabulous audiobook, filled with excellent short stories perfect for travel, walking, sitting or just ignoring the people around you. The narration was very well done. I think this is the first anthology where I enjoyed all the stories and authors.
Two of my favorite authors were included in this monster hunter collection of short stories, Jim Butcher, and Faith Hunter. Both write fabulous characters and truly wicked monsters, so I was thrilled when I won a copy of this. Yes, both knocked it out of the park with their tales. Really I had no doubts they wouldn't. What surprised me was how much I enjoyed each of the other authors previously unknown to me. I think the last story was my favorite new to me author story, it was about a Golem, I love Golems.
I plan on reading each of the other authors from this collection.
