Wonderfully digestible. Lots of scientific layman's speak that comes through naturally. You don't need a cup of coffee or a dictionary to understand what's happening here.

The dialog was a tiddly bit annoying, but not so much that it ruined the experience. Everyone always knew the most perfect witty response to one another. It didn't detract from anything though, just made it feel more like a movie script.

Overall a worthwhile read if you need a one off story to rest your mind and heart

The book present fresh and original ideas even though it’s filled with cliches which are used as narrative devices in jest. The dialogue was a little off putting for me 1/3rd of the time as people don’t really talk to each other like robots trying to perform comedic exchanges all the time. It’s just a nitpick though so 4.7/5

Brilliant concept to incorporate the pop culture icon of Godzilla using scientific plausibility. I loved the time spent in the world with the creatures and the interaction with the team members. The “bad guy” ending seemed thrown in as a story line.
