This was like stepping into a time machine. It’s hard to believe Coolidge was president almost 100 years ago. I pray we continue to have men & women of his caliber and character in public office.

I read this for an essay and it was quite intriguing considering I don't think I have really on my own time read an autobiography (i know.. frightening) and also the fact that I really did not know much if anything about President Coolidge beforehand. Is it an amazing book? Not really. It functioned as it was written. An autobiography that went into his life. I don't have anything to compare it to as far as how an autobiography goes, but some parts not going to lie were quite dry. But what is to be expected? You're reading about someone's life. I wouldn't expect nor hope for their whole to be turbulent and full of twists.

I expected to be so much drier than it was, but I actually really enjoyed how Coolidge wrote his story. It was slow but a fun and informative read. Best book I have read by a President.

An underappreciated about an underappreciated president. This book is worth reading by anyone.

I thought this was interesting. I liked his insights and the way he told the story of his life.
