Overall, I enjoyed the series. This third book was my least favorite. It seemed the most improbable, and had a lot of timeline inconsistencies.

I'm sure this is the first book that's caused me to cry during the wedding scenes. Crying multiple times to the point where I couldn't read because my eyes were clouded with tears and they were such happy tears, I don't remember having happy tears for a book in a long while. It's truly a blessing I got to share and enjoy the experience of reading this and it gave me so much to think about, with faith, future, family, and friends. And j loved that this wasn't a story with a foreseeable plot where you would know how it ended but just little intricate twists to develop the characters and you weren't sure which direction the tale would go. This is my second book on Christian Faith novels I believe, and I loved Kingsbury's first one I read, but --is this real? Is it just fiction or do these sort of miracles and this love, the strength of such love between such people actually exist? Kingsbury's quote, "sometimes when we look for the fingerprints of God at work in our stories, we're most likely to see Him. More likely to experience a deeper faith" and this tale has shown me just that. Thank you for this tale. This book will be memorable.

Well, that is the end of the angels walking series, I will be sorry to say goodbye to these wonderful and well written stories and characters. This was a beautiful well written and fantastic story, I was very emotional while reading, I found this story very up lifting powerful and beautiful. I cannot wait to see what Karen Kingsbury will bring us next. I have read quite a number of her books and there is not one book I have not enjoyed. Her writing is powerful and really tugs at your heartstrings. Since becoming a Christian I have also become more in love with this authers writing than I already was before. Her books always stay with me long after I have finished them and I still remember bits about each one I have read. I highly recommend this book plus all her other books. Although they are Kristian fiction you do not have to be religious to enjoyed them, when I first got into this authors writing I was not a Christian but the books still touched my heart in a big way and actually were a big factor in helping me to make the decision to become a Christian. I am not going to give anything away about the general story itself as it is so beautiful I will let you all read it for yourselves. Five out of five if I could give it a higher rating I would. Karen Kingsbury does it again!

Good read, sad at times, hopeful at times. Did make you want to keep reading, especially the last half of the book searching for a happy ending
