Reading books in french to keep myself from forgetting the language, even if they’re childrens’ books. This was so sweet and warmed my heart, and the simple language made it easy for me to whizz through this.

This was a lovely little story with powerful messages on friendship.
It's sweet and slow, like the passing of seasons. Sepúlveda has a way with words, they're like a blanket, warming your soul and making you feel cosy. The story has open old school vibe, like the books my mom used to read to me when I was a child. I think that's why I enjoyed it, it was like going back to a simpler time.
I was slightly disappointed by the ending, I felt like something was missing.
But otherwise, I had a really nice time reading it.
