I have read a few Murakami books now and I always marvel at how he draws the reader in with apparent ease - with interesting, quirky characters and twists. I was immediately drawn in by this collection of stories.

My personal favourite is "Thailand" - simply beautiful.

I wasn't a huge fan of this collection. The stories weren't bad per say, but it was difficult to be fully engaged in them. Thailand and Honeypot had the most effect on me.
