An interesting love story open to many interpretations. The ending is disappointing in the sense that it just ends without much closure.. The diction gets repetitive. But overall not bad

c'est redondant même si le livre cherche à démontrer qu'on peut tout faire par amour je suis sûre que c'est-à-dire exagérer, la répétition des mêmes erreurs stupides font lever les yeux au ciel les personnages sont soit bêtes soit perfides sont juste chiant le livre est une énorme brique : l'auteur ne revient même pas a la ligne pour les dialogues ça pique les yeux

The story is told beautifully. The prose just flows. The Chevalier is annoying and self righteous since the story is told from his point of view. Manon is just Manon, and don’t know what more to say. Obsessive love is the main theme. Shows the complexity of human relationships. We can not possess a person wholly even if we love them to bits. It’s still relevant to date. I think I would reread.
