I’ve always been fascinated with near death experiences (NDEs). They not only strengthen my faith, but totally changes my grieving process. This book gives you hope there’s something amazing to look forward to post-life. I know this is such a controversial topic but if anyone wants to have deep life talks read this book and hmu!!

An interesting look at NDEs. I've had many NDEs but only one with a white light experience. These stories are all about people who had a single NDE. I believe they all experienced a white light as well. I appreciated hearing these experiences and am grateful to the author for collecting them and presenting them in a thoughtful, sincere manner.

I enjoyed the content of this book overall. It felt really comprehensive and compels the reader to draw their own conclusions. However, it felt a bit disorganized and I think some things were repeated in different sections, so some parts dragged.

Interesting and encouraging. I did the audiobook and would definitely recommend the paper copy… the narrators voice was super annoying

I appreciate how responsibly Burke approaches this topic. He doesn't say these experiences are the unchallengeable truth. Instead, he walks the reader through the most common NDEs. He provides stories, details, and ideas, inviting the reader to draw their own conclusions. This book has made me more excited about heaven. It brought to life pieces in Revelations that I couldn't envision myself. It's made me think more about what Jesus meant in John 13:35 when he said, "By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another." It's increased my hunger for God's word and for intimacy with Him on this side of heaven. Good read. Would recommend!
