Man… this book was a journey. Granted, maybe it would have been better if it hadn’t taken me five months to finish, but it was just… I don’t know. I personally felt like it was lacking. The story had really good promise but it just didn’t feel like it was executed well and the ending was so abrupt for how much build up there was. Maybe I can try again another time reading it all in one go and get a different opinion.

This could have been much shorter, but live the concept, love the MMC, love all the twists!
This book started out really slow for about the first 45% and then I absolutely could not put it down. It's a mix of gothic/fantasy/dark romance vibes with the reincarnation and soulmate trope (go in blind but check TWs please). I am very much hoping for a sequel!
