This book just feels so cynical. The character interactions also just feel so static.

A good follow up to the first volume. The League is in rehab, these aren't quite gods amongst men.

I enjoyed this but was disappointed by the writing; I found it mildly amusing where as the first was laugh-out-loud funny. I also felt it suffered from what I think of as typical graphic-novel-sequel-syndrome. Instead of one story, this contained two separate ones, which made it less satisfying as each was wrapped up too quickly.

There were great character moments, solid humor, and amazing art. However, the story was sub-par, it reeked of trying to hard to be dark to the point of ridiculousness, and it ended with one of the more forced romances I've seen in a while. The good bits were amazing however, and I do expect it to bounce back.

Was excited that I found this in the library, since the poor reviews were scaring me away. The Steve and Wonder Woman relationship could have been explored more (maybe it is in her comics, but I have not got past volume 1 of the new 52 with WW). That just made the Superman and Wonder Woman stuff feel rushed. Graves as a villain was poor; I have no idea why he did what he did.

This wasn't as good as the first volume, however, it added a different element to the story by showing their weaknesses and how the media was playing a role in the heroes actions. Will be continuing on with the 3rd volume soon.

Jim Lee's artwork in this comic book is amazing. And the story by Geoff Johns is so good. Very well done comic book. Worth reading.
