A quick breezy read filled with lots of good tips. I wish there had been more info on why you should have a newsletter. I guess I'm not a superfan of any authors so I haven't subscribed to author newsletters until recently (to see what they do) but I still buy and read a fair number of books.

I have gone from hopeless to hopeful

Everyone has to start somewhere, and over one year of writing books, with less than 50 email subscribers (erm, less than 30..... Okay you got me, it's 21) I was interested to see what this book would reach me.

In the course of two weeks I read this book, and it changed my complete outlook, and taught me what I am doing wrong.

I just purchased book 2 (give a reader a cookie, and can't wait to grab the other book 2 all about automations.

Thanks Tammi, you have literally changed my life :)

Fantastic little handbook about a topic I don't normally spend a lot of time reading about, but needed to in order to kick off my 2020 goals. I highlighted a lot of lines and passages and will be using it to structure a mailing list game plan for myself.

I had read a lot of newsletter articles, but none of them were as fun to read as this book. Most of them were full of technical jargon and no smile. Newsletter Ninja has all the information and technical jargon, but Tammy does a great job lightening the mood with little quips and funny, lighthearted interjections, so you don't feel like it's all stale.

Wealth of info

Oooh, this book was totally worth the money. I know I'll be rereading it many times. It was full of info that I knew and didn't and I've learned a lot about newsletters since reading this book.

Fast paced and a TON of information.  I think I will start over from the beginning and try to star  implementing the steps as I read this time. That will take a while...!

The reason I bought this book was I wasn't sure if I wanted to shell out the $300 for Tammi's course. Paying $5 is far more reasonable.

I've had books out since 2011 and I've never done a newsletter. I always thought about it, but didn't know where to stop. People used terms I didn't understand and I didn't know what to put in my newsletter. Recently, I've also been unsubscribing to a lot of newsletters. That probably attributed to me not wanting to do one.

When I started reading Newsletter Ninja, I realized I had to change my mindset. I always thought of newsletters as something that you used to sell a product. I guess that's true to the larger companies. I'm always looking for a deal and sales, which is why I follow them. But for your authors especially your indie authors, I guess it's not.

However, I wish this book weren't as conversational as it was, and was a bit more serious. I also wish that it was longer and that it dived into detail for some things. I may in fact pay for the course.

Shit.

Great book. I learned a lot about email lists, and what to do and not to do. I think it's a great book for anyone building an email list and is unsure of how to do so.

Learned SO MUCH

This is a fantastic guide for authors on how to run a mailing list. I thought I knew a lot, having used email campaigns for the past ten years, but the book covers a lot of tactics and strategies specific to authors.
