Perhaps this wasn't my favorite Shakespeare play ever, but, like every Shakespeare play, The Tempest is drenched in meaning, significance, and implications for our daily lives. I loved being able to dig deep and discover themes in the The Tempest such as leadership and truth.

weak

One of the easiest to understand of the Shakespeare plays that I have read. Lots of good fantasy. A fast paced story. Humor. One of my favorites.

This is now probably my second favourite Shakespeare after Macbeth - though I have only read a few. It flowed nicely, it wasn't too difficult to understand and it had it's funny moments. I liked the fantastical creatures part of the play as well as the ploy and growth of the characters. Of course, let's not talk about getting married three hours after meeting one another, but apart from that it was an entertaining ride.
adventurous

the premise of this was fun, and the writing was nice, but i just wasnt that invested.

Truly a slog. This wasn’t my favorite when I decided to read it in high school and it’s not my favorite while listening to it now but now that I’ve gotten through so many plays during quarantine I feel committed to see it to the end.
