It’s a deep dive into acceptance, adaptation and resilience. Ildiko and Brishem are great main characters, and the secondary ones are also quite interesting.

It was so refreshing to read a friends-to-lovers romance, especially one driven by respect and affection rather than beauty. Brishen and Ildiko are wonderful.

Love the story. Both if the of the leads were green flags and felt like they had a steady, respectful relationship before slowly turning into a romantic relationship. The story did feel a bit slow at times which would be my only complaint but other than that the story was great!
