I enjoyed Amy & Roger's roadtrip. I've visited many of the same places, so it was fun! The romance was a little short and the ending very sudden. I would have liked if both of them would have been a little longer. Cute story though.

It has been a while since I have really enjoyed a book and I can say this one book was just what I needed. I wish it didn't take me so long to actually read this (learned about it back in October 2010) but I am soooo glad that I finally got to read it.

I loved Amy and Roger. They totally complemented each other and were a great couple. I knew they would end up together but I didn't like how the ending kind of left it open and I wanted to know if they were able to stay together. The only character that I didn't like was Amy's brother Charlie (he reminded me of someone that I know).

All of the actual pictures and the playlists were awesome. It really gave the story character and it helped me feel like I was actually there with them. Out of all of the states they went too, I really would like to visit Kentucky. I usually don't like how authors do flashbacks in books but this author did it correctly because I didn't feel confused with them and I didn't feel like I wasn't sure if it was happening in the present or in the past.

I am completely in love with this book, it is one of the most beautiful I've ever read in my life. This story is kind of a life lesson, in my opinion.

This book shows us that life isn't always great nor always terrible. Bad things happen and we can't do anything to avoid them, but there's also good things waiting to happen and we have to let life take its course.

I think that the detour Amy and Roger took was the best thing that happened to both of them. They changed a lot during their trip and the friendship they created was something beautiful. I really, really ship them. The bill in the last page of the book was very heartwarming, because it lets us know they stayed together.

I highly recommend this book!

SUCH A QUICK READ. I finished the book in one sitting. It was so fast-paced and interesting. I loved the characters, even the minor ones. I wish we'd gotten more of Bron - she was absolutely amazing.

Also, I loved how the book ended. I mean, the last page with the receipt- it made me feel so warm and happy inside. I would have really liked if we had gotten to see more of what happened later and learn how everything played out between Amy and her mother, charlie, rodger and julia. but, even without it, I think the book was really satisfying and enjoyable. it definitely lived up to my expections!

it was slightly more emotional and less fluffy and cutesy than I was expecting it to be, but I loved it nonetheless. it was a lovely super-fun read which fuelled my desire to go on a road trip tenfold! ONE DAY, I WILL (hopefully with someone as cute as Rodger hah).

I LOVE THIS BOOK. With all my heart, I love this book. I admit I did not want to read this at first, because I loved Matson's Second Chance Summer, and I was afraid this would not live up to it. But it is every bit as good. I need like a second book or something. I need it!

The two main characters - Amy and Roger - are a match made in heaven. It just absolutely worked between these two. And I am very glad that the author really worked her way into developing their relationship. The only down side to that is all the magic happens towards the end, and it really leaves you wanting more. But I am definitely not disappointed. I enjoyed the whole ride.

This is definitely not a book you should miss out on. I cannot wait to read more books from this author. She has quite the talent.

I love a good road trip story and this definitely fits the bill. it's also a story of finding yourself, grief, family and figuring out what you want. and some romance for good measure.
