I always hate when a comic is interrupted by an event and this was no exception. Every time there’s a very abrupt interruption in any and all character development to shoehorn in the event. That being said, the writers did do the best they could with what they’ve got and I don’t fully dislike it. It just felt like a bit of an unnecessary wrench thrown into an otherwise very well-told story.
