Suspense, action, romance, steam. Junkie has it all and will have you on the edge of your seat. You won’t be able to put this book down!

Luna had some struggles growing up, she is street smart, she can race with the best of them, but when she messes with the wrong people she flees for her own safety. Cash is an arrogant race driver, but there is more to him.

From the moment Luna and Cash met I knew they would be in for a wild ride. They didn’t get off on the right side of the track, but their banter was great. Their chemistry was explosive. They are two broken pieces who seamlessly fight perfectly together and didn’t know they were what each other was missing in life.

Junkie is an adrenaline rush from the start and the chemistry between Luna and Cash will suck you in. A MUST READ for anyone who loves a mixture of suspense and action with their steam!

And we are back for another book written in K. Bromberg’s Driven World, and this time it’s Junkie by the amazing J.D Hollyfield. Luna Monroe is an adrenaline junkie who is on the run, and Cash Huntington has a need for speed on the track. That was until he met her. Trigger warning there are some sensitive topics within this book. Overall I loved the story; they both were broken in different ways, and they really just meshed well together. Their relationship just made sense. So definitely a must read.

I haven’t read any of the books from this series so I was really curious going into it! I have always loved everything this author has written and this one was no exception! I think this might be my new favorite book! It was so amazing I couldn’t stop once I started!

Great book! Loved the plot and the characters. I loved how it wasn't instant trust and love, they actually built up to the trust. Despite not being a very long book it didn't seem too rushed. It had just enough suspense to keep me reading. I literally read this book in one sitting, took me about 4-5 hours. It gets four stars because I wanted more story to go along with the pictures at the end.

Luna has a need for someone else’s speed. She’s in a game where the boys have the toys and she’s trying to crack that ceiling. Cash is a man who knows how to celebrate. When he’s around Luna he always seems to have hoof and mouth disease. It makes for some very comical scenes.

This is a high octane and bumpy ride. If you like the Discovery Channel’s Street Outlaws, the Grand Prix, Indy or Nascar then you may just love this book. The story shows the men we put on pedestals are just like you and I. They just have a different profession. Plus, when we meet someone, we don’t know what their background is and what life was like before they enter our lives. We need to get to know someone – sometimes there’s something there and sometimes not.

It was fun to watch a relationship develop between our main characters. The author does it in a way where the scenes don’t get crowded and anything is drawn out. Everything moves smoothly. There are some things that were tough to read but that’s life and even though this is a work of fiction, their lives have to seem believable – anything less would have you rolling your eyes. The author had me smiling at the end with her surprise. It’s one I’ve never seen in a book before but I loved it. If you’ve never experienced this author’s work, this is a great place to start.

I was not compensated nor was I required to write a positive review. The opinions I have expressed are my own.
