Love on the Air

Ash London

3.9 AVERAGE

Love on the Air from Australian debut author Ash London was a joy of a read, a slow burn romance set in the world of radio.

The setting felt fresh and interesting, and while I thoroughly enjoyed the romance, Alex’s personal and professional development is what elevated this read for me. I loved her strength and vitality, and her relationships with her friends. The way she navigated her professional trials and her unapologetic energy was really invigorating.

I didn’t have as much of a sense of Leo’s character, but he was sweet, and I enjoyed watching his relationship with Alex develop. Finley and Tom were excellent comic releases and added another layer of vibrancy to this already engaging read. An excellent feel-good story to sink your teeth into!

Thank you Allen & Unwin for a complimentary copy of this book. Opinions expressed are my own.

I have to admit at the start of this book all the fashion brand name dropping was a bit annoying but once you actually know why Alex loves them I got past it.
This was a very cute read and I enjoyed the radio station workplace story

Love the tone of this book, light hearted with a twist of underlining humour with an insight into the goings on of a winning radio host and show.

Loved this book, fun, flirty and confident a few hiccups and emotions along but overall relatable and joyful. Just how I would imagine listening Alex in the morning, the main character’s radio show. Ash makes me feel empowered as a Australian contemporary romance reader and I hope she writes more books!
