November 2022 - yup. still very important to me :) chapter 22 is my comfort blanket.
July 2019 - It is 4am and I am trying to write a semi coherent review of this book after having been crying my eyes out for the last couple of hours. beautiful prose, haunting plotlines and perfectly sculpted characters. It also helps that Leslie Feinberg is a wonderful person. This book was warm and stone cold and it made me feel grateful for the generations of LGBTQ+ people that struggled intensively for a better future. It has made me reflect on my own experiences, thoughts and actions. What can I do to make sure the future is just a little brighter?
