This was amazing. I love dragon age, and I've always wanted to know more about the griffons. My heart absolutely broke for Isseya throughout and I'm so mad that her story wasn't as known, that her brother allowed that to happen to her without any sort of intervention but that was how the blight was, I suppose. I hope this feeds into the new game so much

It's been a while since I read this book but from what I recall:
I thought the book was a super interesting read that made the world feel alive and changing, and learning the history of this part of the setting was interesting. The final bit of the book made me hopeful for some elements in Dragon Age: Dreadwolf, but time will tell how that will pan out.
My biggest gripe with the book is that the cast of characters is relatively large. And during each time jumps I would need to spend time to get re-acquainted with the returning characters. This is mostly due to me having read the book in short bursts with a lot of downtime in-between.
