Book 3 of the good guys is a fun dungeon dive as we learn more about the world that Montana has found himself in. Nikolai opens up a little and some of his secerts were reviled.

And now we're in a dungeon yippi...
Now, there are probably people who like a good ol' dungeon crawl. Since you know, masochists exist and all. But i'm not one them.
Dungeon crawls are slow, boring, dark, repetitive , and that won't make for an exciting book. And well it kinda didn't? This was the worst addition to the series so far. But why did I still give it 4 stars you ask? Because he wrote a dungeon crawl exactly like it should be. And i can't fault him for that. He brought the humor, he brought the gods, the slaying and the skill point hoarding. My gaming cravings are satisfied.
Also our Hero go into some deep existentialist thinking after a Zerg Rush. Which was a nice touch.

Nice dungeon run. Better social interaction but still the author could work on that. A new group member and at the end of the book we know nothing about Emiline - in a tight knit dungeon group that is just not believable. People talk to each other! Especially in stressful situations. And stop make all scenes she plays a role being a scene where she changes clothes. That is so old-school.

This is my favorite reading reset series/ overcoming a reading slump. It’s amusing RPG fun with interesting world-building behind it.
