“When we die," she said, "I don't think the gods will even know what to do with us.”

I enjoyed this a lot, even if it could be hard to make myself read it sometimes due to knowing it was going to end in tragedy.

It's not my favourite of The Assassin's Blade stories (Desert is), but it was still good and still had some of my favourite aspects (how much Arobynn really messed her up emotionally), plus SJM always manages to hit me hard with Celeana's emotions.

Gripping, tragic, emotional novella, that answers many questions and gives a reader the answer, who betrayed Sam and Celaena, the answer, that even Celaena doesn't know.
Spoiler To tell that I hate Arobynn for what he did would be quite an understatement and I'm really mad at Celaena for her selfishness and not listening to Sam's idea to leave for another continent. That means, that there is also her fault in Sam's terrible death
I hope that in the sequel of Throne of Glass we'll see the avenging of Sam, meet characters from all the four novellas and know more about Celaena's childhood (hint, hint for the author). Highly recommended series!!!
