I’ve been looking for a good horror story that will really creep me out for awhile not that isn’t body horror. This hit the mark.

I feel like the best way to read this book is audiobook format. It really does bring it to life with the multiple narrators. It’s like The Weight of Blood, it’s a good book, but I think listening to it is what makes it great. It adds to the dread at some points because we can hear the noises the investigators are hearing at the same time.

I’ll definitely be checking out more by this author.

I went into this excited about reading a spooky haunted house story, but it ended up being a disappointment. I really liked the first half, but the last half just went downhill for me.

🚨🚨5 star book alert🚨🚨 I’ve heard pretty good things about this book and I just knew that it was a found-footage story that focused on a ghost hunting reality show. I love both of those things so I was really excited to get into this one.

I think that the characters were all pretty developed and well-written. It was also a little over 400 pages but it didn’t feel that long because of the writing style. I also like how the found-footage and ghost hunting aspects were executed with the use of journal entries and charts. The story got a bit more complicated than I was expecting towards the end but I really liked it. I definitely recommend this to anyone that likes the found-footage genre and ghost hunting in general!

The audible made this book 10x better. The voice actors really sold this book. The writing style isn’t my favorite but I want to at least finish it. A couple spooky parts but nothing too crazy.
