This didn't feel as high risk as the last volume; the antagonist was eradicated pretty quickly, without any real feeling of threat. I was sort of waiting to see what would happen with the Fables I cared about instead of the new ones that I didn't.

The last issue of the omnibus also had a cursive font in it that I found somewhat difficult to read. (This is probably due to the fact I read an older copy from a library, so it's much loved; it was still a bit blurry and difficult. This is just a personal gripe, but others may wish to consider.)

Oh how I love reading snide comments about Arabs and Arab culture. :/

I enjoyed this volume a lot! I really liked exploring the Arabian fairy tales. I also found the story about the wooden soldiers and how their story will likely effect the rest of the fables.

The Arabian Fables story took things in a new and fun direction. Some good humour was gotten out of that, while also introducing future Plot elements. The Rodney and June story was good, an interesting angle.

5 ve 6. ciltler o kadar iyiydi ki, 7. kitap yanlarında azıcık sönük kalmış.

Major points for pacing, wordplay, and the adorable courtship at the end. Negative points for racial stereotyping.

Still a very solid volume, but I didn't enjoy it as much as the others (so far). I'm chocking that up to my general lack of interest in the Arabian Fables (Sinbad being the primary character falling into this category...though I did enjoy the aspect of the djinns...).
