Many decades later....still think this is one of the best kids' books EVER! Amazing how in such a slim story (about 120 pages?!!), Paterson captures the most important themes of human existence: our aspirations, our mortality, our relationships with one another. If you haven't read it, you must read it. If you have read it, it's very much worth re-reading. Have the tissues ready.....

An almost perfect book. Genuinely timeless and worth revisiting as an adult, especially because it was one of my favorites growing up. I listened to the audiobook, and Robert Sean Leonard narrated it beautifully.

Cute classic book. Helping give an understanding of grief and growth.

Welp. I wasn't expecting this book to make me cry like a baby but here we are.

I was actually a little bored with this book for a little while. I even contemplated whether or not to finish it but I'm really glad I did. It's such a tragic story. I didn't realize it was going to be when I started reading it. But it's also full of magic, wonder, and a beautiful friendship as well. =)

Fue una lectura rápida, aun así fue bonita a pesar de que vi la película primero y que siento que la disfrute mas.

This is the first book I can remember making me sob reading it. I feel bad for 6 or 7 year old me! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
