This was a chunky read and so worth it. I looked at the page count and noted in my book journal that this one is a thickums Lol! (I like to have a good time lol) DISCLAIMER: 95% of the things I read have a trigger warning and I love it. Protect your peace and mental health at all cost!!!

Like all of my reviews, I will never spoil it for you, but this book follows Merit our FMC and Ira our MMC. Imagine this, female star athlete struggling internally (everyone knows it) collides with her male counterpart who is on top of the world. Or is he really?? These characters are the same in so many ways, but so very different in others.

This book was just so well written. The flow and tone of the book had me gliding through the pages. I am a sucker for descriptive imagery and character development and this book did not disappoint. I really feel like I knew the characters inside and out. This is the true definition of a book with diverse and inclusive representation. I cannot forget to mention the touch of gender equality in the work field. Literal chefs kiss.


You will love this book if you love romance, dual sporty romance, plot and with a dash of spice this is the read for you. Again, check your trigger warnings. Happy reading!
