This is the second book in this series by Mikey Lee. I liked this book because I found it to be amusing and I like the idea of a male author writing romance novels. Having a male author of a romance novel brings an interesting point of view to the genre- especially when the main character is also male. That being said, it's easy to see that the author is new to the writing profession and that this was an independently published novel. Like with the first book in this series, many aspects of the story could have been fleshed out a little more (no pun intended). A lot more details could have been added and I would've liked the book to be a little longer n order to read those details.. Other aspects of the story could have been toned down quite a bit. Your wife is an awesome piece of amazingness and you love her SO much. We get it Seth! Yoga instructors ARE pretty sweet! All in all though, this book is pretty good and the story is intriguing. With some polishing up, this story (and the author) could be a bestseller.

I fell in love with sexy Seth Lane and his beautiful wife, Zee, when an amazingly sweet woman named Pam gifted me a copy of [b:Detecting Lust: an erotic detective novel (Sin)|29745127|Detecting Lust an erotic detective novel (Sin) (Volume 1)|Mikey Lee|https://images.gr-assets.com/books/1463611158s/29745127.jpg|50099785]. Seth was a charming and dedicated detective with the SVU and had a special way of putting victims at ease and finding them justice. Zee was his muse and unknowingly helped her husband put the unconnected pieces of the case together.

In Detecting Envy, the case involved a victim of date rape and the suspect was a renowned championship boxer. Seth was determined to solve the case and provide the victim with closure, despite the perp's notoriety.

Again, this was a wonderfully lustful dip into the eternal love pond of Seth and Zee. Their marriage was stronger than ever and I admired how united they were regardless of Ashley's machinations to have Seth. Thankfully she finally learned about his wife (that omission pissed me off in the last book) and understood that she stood ABSOLUTELY no chance! Honestly, I could have down without her POV, which only made her appear pathetic. I had no sympathy for her because even after meeting Zee she was still hungry for her man. Silly silly girl.

I'm so happy to know that this series will continue and that I can expect more from my boy, Seth!!
