Loved this finale to the Hooky trilogy!!  It felt like everything came together into this final one. I'm often a big fan of last books in a trilogy, as there's much more dramatics, tension, twists, emotional scenes. This book definitely brought that! The illustrations were gorgeous, as always, I liked the way mood was brought in using the illustrations and the frames/ borders as well. I found there were a lot of themes of mental health, and grief which were emotional and added a lot to the plot, as well as creating character development. Additionally, the twists and pay offs felt really fulfilling, as well as the callbacks to previous volumes. I enjoyed the direction in which the romances took, as well. It felt like a bigger sibling of the first two, which was perfect for me. I would recommend this trilogy to those who like the Owl House and other witchy middle-grade aimed books/ media!

My kids have been asking every day if I finished this book. When they love a series/book this much, I put aside whatever I’m reading and read what they hand me. And I can see why they love it so much. Such a fun read about magic, friendship, family but also the damage that fear and distrust can do to a kingdom.

Omg, I can't believe it's over! This is probably so underrated, I'm confused not more people are talking about this series and I can see this as a tv show or movie as well!

It was hard to finish this book because I didn't want to say goodbye to the characters! This book follows up the 1st and 2nd book quite well and I really love the ending. I'm amazed how many characters develop every character had, it feels like I just saw them grow up in front of my eyes.

5 stars for this book!
