Despite some scenes from the original Webtoon being changed or simply left out, this last volume to the Hooky series is just as utterly wonderful and magical as its predecessors. Miriam has drawn such a fantastical, magic-rich, beautiful world which I'd love to be a part of. I cannot believe I have to bid these characters farwell. I will love this series for entirnity!

(Spoilers if you squint) I am content with the ending of this story. I do believe there were some themes that could have possibly been handled better and I understand what the author was trying to do but it just kind of fell flat. The art was beautiful as always and the characters just as lovable. I loved seeing them grow and change into themselves and watch how confident they became. My favorite character personally was Damien. I was disappointed we did not get to see that much of Dani this time around as I very much enjoyed her character. Other than that though I loved the interactions between characters and seeing a well written sibling relationship.

this volume, if its original webtoon counterpart had been published to paper faithfully, would have been a 4.75 at least. The story itself is still well preserved, but a lot of the censorship of topics like sexuality and alcohol to keep this book shelved in the young readers section unfortunately gutted some very key complexities in certain characters, leaving their arcs feeling a bit more hollow. *COUGH* WILL *COUGH*
