Amelia has no idea what happened to four years of her life. All she has been told is that her husband Carl found her after a car accident that killed her father and they lived in Brooklyn soon after. She shouldn't be questioning her husband, but Amelia feels as though Carl is hiding something about those four years that she can't remember. After Carl starts talking in his sleep and saying the name "Emily", Amelia suspects that Carl is cheating on her. Amelia goes out in search for help via therapy once her memories start to come back. But once she starts realizing what is happening, she can never go back to how her life was.
Forewarning, this book has some deep emotional wounds and triggers for those that have dealt with abuse. Please be cautious when reading this.
I started listening to this audio book yesterday afternoon and kept finding myself wanting to know how it all ended well through the end of the night. Although I had a small idea of how it would end, I was definitely curious if I was right. Amelia has been through so much in her life and it was apparent that she had some deep, serious trauma that she was hiding. We go through this book watching it all unravel. It was suspenseful and definitely wanted me to know more. Recommend for those looking for a good psychological thriller.

Well, I figured it out before I got there but I loved how it was revealed at the end. Good read.

Thank you to #DreamscapeMedia and #NetGalley and Cole Baxter for the advanced reader copy of #FindingTheOtherWoman
First off, I would like to start off with an important trigger: child molestation. It is a huge theme of the storyline and makes up a large chunk of the plot.
This was my Second Book by Cole Baxter and the first book I read by him was good, but felt wordy and I felt like it could have been much shorter
But this one! It was a wild ride, I feel like I had an idea of what was happening, but it wasn’t really obvious until it was revealed, and I liked that. I will admit I totally did not see the ending coming, and it was much more intense than I would have originally realized. I do really like this author, and have two more of his novels on my netgalley shelf I would definitely recommend this book!

First of all thanks to NetGalley and the publishers, Dreamscape Media for allowing me to read this ARC. This audiobook was great, including the narration! Even though I figured out who the other woman was before it was totally revealed, I enjoyed the different twists and the reasoning behind the other woman's side of the story. I thought it was well written and an enjoyable psychological thriller/suspense to read. It also didn't seem too far fetched, something like this could happen!
How would you feel if you couldn’t remember the last four years of your life? Would you just move on or do everything in your power to find out about it?
Amelia can't remember a four year period of her life. She remembers childhood and on, then a four year gap, then the past 6 months she can recall. She's determined to find out what happened during those four years. She was in a car accident that killed her father (remarkably her sister also died in a car accident with her father), and that is the last she remembers for four years. She is determined to get back those memories, despite her husband and her mother discouraging her at every turn.
Carl, her husband, Carl, has been calling out for Emily in his sleep, and Amelia thinks he is having and affair and is dead set on "finding the other woman."
I found the story interesting enough; however, I had the plot twist figured out very early on and was shocked it took so long to come to light. I really didn't feel invested at all in the characters, except maybe Emily who was a bit entertaining.
Definitely an easy listen audio, and I would try the author again because, although this wasn't my favorite, it was a decent read and I'm hopeful others would engage me even more.
Thank you to NetGalley and Dreamscape Media for this advanced audio copy in exchange for an honest review.

While I typically really enjoy a good psychological thriller, this one did not keep me engaged and it was a struggle to finish. The memory loss aspect was nice but overall it wasn’t very exciting to read.
