Thank you to the publisher, author, illustrator, and NetGalley for a copy of this book in exchange for honest feedback. This book is exactly what it sounds like -- a short collection of famous, extraordinary women throughout history. The info on each page is brief, appropriate for a young reader at bedtime stories time. The pictures are the real excitement. There are full color photographs for each profile. My favorite was Jane Austen, but I'm just biased! Either way, there was a variety of countries of origin and historical time periods represented. In fact, I learned about a few people I had never known about before. Cute drawings, age appropriate info/word choices for a young reader. All in all, a good book for its aims.

Perfect book for babies. Colourful pictures and a easy two sentence description of women from the past and present describing their achievements in simple terms.
If we are going to raise feminists and the word definitely needs feminists, then we need to start young.
Ideal children's non fiction book with rebel babies in mind from #RebelBaby

With thanks to #NetGalley for this preview read and of course Rebel Girls.

Beautiful, diverse artwork with bite-sized biographies of women and girls that everyone needs to learn about. While it's titled "Good Night Stories" you could actually read the entire thing in one sitting. Everything flows easily and it's so fun to read, that you might not want to break it up across several nights. Definitely worth picking up!

This book is an adaptation for babies of [b:Good Night Stories for Rebel Girls: 100 Tales of Extraordinary Women|33016249|Good Night Stories for Rebel Girls 100 Tales of Extraordinary Women|Elena Favilli|https://i.gr-assets.com/images/S/compressed.photo.goodreads.com/books/1572977041l/33016249._SX50_.jpg|53652027], delivered to us by Rebel Girls - a global, multi-platform empowerment brand dedicated to helping raise the most inspired and confident generation of girls. This statement alone should be enough to convince anyone to pick this book for any toddler you might have in your life.

This book briefly tells us the story of a diverse group of curious, ambitious, powerful and non-conformist women who dared to be more, accompanied by beautiful illustrations. I am glad these stories are available to help us show our little girls they can be anything they dream.

The book is targeted for babies with 0 to 3 years old but I consider it a better fit for 2 to 4 years old, obviously depending on the kids interests.

Thank you Rebel Girls and Edelweiss for making this book available for an honest review.

**Thank you to Rebel Girls and NetGalley for the eARC of this title. This in no way changed my rating**

I have read many of the Rebel Girls books, so I was excited to see how they would adapt this for a younger child. For the most part, I think it was well done. The art is engaging and interesting. The choice of women highlighted were diverse and span long periods of time in history. I have a few nitpicky things that would keep it from being a 5 for me, but overall, it would be a welcome addition to any home collection or library.

My few critiques are that I would flip the first two paragraphs on the first page. The second paragraph is introducing the premise of the book and the first one is about Amelia Earhart. It just makes more sense to me for those to be switched since paragraph two is introducing "women [who] have dared, dreamed, and discovered."

This is me being very specific, but I would've picked Katherine Johnson over Margaret Hamilton. Hamilton's contributions were very important, but Johnson came first and her calculations were used to double check Hamilton's work when NASA first started using electronic displays in space.

Overall, there is a wide range of athletes, artists, politicians, and other important women highlighted in a way that is mostly appropriate for the age group. Parts are a little wordy, but I think it's a title you would read multiple times with a child, so that's ok. Another great addition to the Rebel Girls lineup.

Thank you to Rebel Girls and NetGalley for an ARC in exchange for my honest review.

This would make a lovely baby shower gift or present for a little one in your life. It highlights extraordinary women from around the world and across time periods. There are even role models in the book that were new to me. With brief snippets about each extraordinary woman, the book provides a nice broad introduction of these women to children.

The book features bright and bold colors to capture a baby's attention. There are a variety of artistic styles utilized in the illustrations. Even if the children do not yet understand the words being read to them, the book illustrations provide an early introduction to diversity and normalizes seeing people of different colors for young minds.

FIVE STARS!!! My two year old loved this book! I love the representation of all different women in this book! The illustrations and page formatting was very captivating. I also loved the inclusion of "different" women. Most books of this type have the same few women included, but we loved how there were new and unique faces in this book. Several of the women I had never even heard of. LOVE LOVE!

Another great collection by Rebel Girls. This collection contains 5 chapter books each one about a different woman. The women included in this collection are: Ada Lovelace, Madam CJ Walker, Dr Wangari Maathai, Junko Tabei and Alicia Alonso.

My 9 year old and I both liked that these stories give more details about these strong women and chronicles their lives. These are a great format for children to read and learn and be inspired by these figures. While they are targeted to younger readers, my advanced reader quite enjoyed sitting and reading them as well.

Lovely artwork as always. It would be great if they created more of these small chapter books on some of the other women they have written about in their other books. There were some fun activities at the end of each book as well which were enjoyed in our home.

I highly recommend this. The books was all about empowerment for young girls. The imagination and creativity that was embedded into this book was great. I actually started thinking about my childhood and all the imagination I would have. Just fabulous!
