Came highly recommended from an fMh thread. Checked this out along with "Sexy Little Knits" and "Naughty Needles". I don't think our librarian was TOO suspicious, though. lol. This book is definitely hefty, though!

Didn't finish it before it had to be returned. Impressions: it is pretty thorough, but deceptively so. It makes you think that because it's thorough on some subjects, it'll be thorough on all, and that isn't the case at all. Also, checking it out from the library meant that some of the pages with illustrations were ripped out. Um. Nice. Will probably have to buy it if I'm ever going to get the chance to finish it.

I liked this book more than I thought I would. I was at times surprised or shocked, but I appreciated the way this book made me think, the way it described situations in stories and facts as well as provided historical context. I am glad I read this book and thought it was really helpful.

A friend of mine owned this book in high school and all of our friends found it both entertaining and extremely informative. It earned a home in my very eclectic book collection about ten years ago. Keep an eye out for the cat photo bomber. ;)

This is a great go-to book for sex. The humor is fantastic plus the writer is a local to Corvallis. Definitely fun to flip through.

Should be available at every secondary school in the country (if not a required textbook). If you're looking for a good book on Sex Ed that is both practical and biological, this is the book for you. Each chapter tackles a different topic including: Romance, Kissing, Semen Confidential, Orgasms, Sunsets & Hand Grenades, Your First Time, Techno Breasts and Weenie Angst, Good Sex After Bad--Rape and Abuse, The Historical Breast and Bra, and Kink in the Animal Kingdom to name but a few. I recommend this book to just about everyone, of all experiences and backgrounds. I still pull it off the shelf to thumb through it, and I've had the book for three years now.

A solid advice book. Not as fun as "The Big Bang," but I'd recommend this for people self-conscious about buying anything in the "sexuality" section of the bookstore.

I grew up in a cultural environment that was embarrassed by, ashamed of, and afraid of sex. This book has been cathartic for me to plow through. I wish i would have been reading this years ago. It's the first book i've ever read about sex, but also the funnest, detailed, optimistic, insightful book i imagine i'll ever read about sex. The bottom line: sex is fun. Have fun doing it.
