I love the idea of fated mates, but never have I read one between a literal god & a werewolf <3

One of the things I loved about the FMC (Haera) was her vulnerability. Despite her traumaโ€“dealing with her father's death & her ex-alpha's (Zyadon) assaultโ€“she opened up to her mate (Theos) and it was so commendable. I often read a lot of books where FMCs would shut down or bottle up their emotions (which I understand, everyone deals with grief and pain in different ways) but it was so refreshing to see someone share their troubles with someone they care about.
And I love the complete transformation in her demeanor when she's in her wolf form! A total badass!

Theos was a complex character imo (but what deity isn't lol). At first I was a bit annoyed with how he treated his little brothers, Kheos (The Fates) & Regos (Death) in the beginning. But through Haera he was able to change his ways and form a better relationship with them ๐Ÿคง then I was like okay ๐Ÿ‘€ loving this improvement for you.

LISTEN I had a HUGE SOFT SPOT for Kheos since he was first introduced! and his relationship with Haera (who he CREATED!) warmed my heart ๐Ÿฅบ he deserves all the love okay.

Oh! & I absolutely loved the terms of endearment Theos gave Haera: little mate of mine, little star โญ

One of my favorite parts was when Zyadon & her ex-bff (Alanis) got what they deserved ๐Ÿ˜Œ I could NOT believe Alanis would betray her like that smh

The spice was a 4 ๐ŸŒถ๏ธ If you like dirty talk then you'll love the mouth on Theos ๐Ÿ˜

UIHHY is a remarkable debut- Theos's rivalry with his brothers, Kheos and Regos, Haera's bravery, survival skills and deep love for those she took as her own (this despite all the hurt and trauma she had to endure), Theos's unconditional adoration for her and the blossoming of their beautiful and eternal love story, the illustrations made by Azalea and the sublime world she has created through her words, everything is gorgeous and truly makes this a one-of-a-kind book. A must read!

This book swept me into a tale of cosmic love, trauma, and healingโ€”a breathtaking romance between a literal God and a werewolf fated to be together. The concept of fated mates has always been fascinating, but pairing a God with a mortal werewolf? Thatโ€™s a next-level trope I didnโ€™t know I needed!

Haera, our FMC, is a beautifully written character. Her vulnerability stands out in a genre where many characters bottle up their emotions.

And letโ€™s talk about her wolf form! Haera is an entirely different force of natureโ€”a fierce, powerful, and unapologetic badass. I loved how her wolf form showcased her strength and resilience, even when her human self was weighed down by trauma.

Theos, the God of Creation, is another highlight of this book. His grumpy, possessive nature, paired with his unshakable love for Haera, created such a fascinating dynamic. Watching him navigate the delicate balance of his overwhelming emotions while respecting Haera's healing process was both heartbreaking and heartwarming. The slow-burn romance between them is so intense it had me holding my breath during many scenes.

While the story starts slow, the world-building is immersive and sets the stage for the epic battle of love and loyalty that follows.

This isnโ€™t just a romance; itโ€™s a deeply human story wrapped in a paranormal fantasy. The moments of vulnerability, paired with intense love and healing, will resonate long after youโ€™ve finished the book.

If youโ€™re a fan of fated mates, slow-burn romances, or gods-meet-werewolves stories with an emotional edge, this one is for you. Itโ€™s a captivating read and one of the best Iโ€™ve picked up this year!

As with any fantasy book the first few chapters were a bit overwhelming getting familiar with the world. After the first 30% I fell absolutely in love with these characters. Bless there were many times I was so angry with the three brothers and how they interacted. Cocky and just so infuriating but I loved them anyways. Talk about a slow burn! Definitely some back and forth with the FMC as she slowly gets to know her mate and heals. Iโ€™ve never had soemthing so relatable in the healing process and how itโ€™s not linear.! Beautifully written!

Thank you Azalea Valaine for my ARC copy!

As a reader, Until I Have Healed You was unlike anything Iโ€™ve picked up before. Azalea Valaine crafts a dark and intense world filled with gods, mortals, and the tangled fates that bind them together. The storyโ€™s tone is unapologetically raw, diving into themes of power, trauma, and redemption with an almost brutal honesty.
The dynamic between Theos, Kheos, and Regos is one of the highlights of the book. Their sibling rivalries feel deeply personal, yet their battles have universe-shattering consequences. Theos, in particular, stands out as a characterโ€”both godly and flawed, embodying life and destruction in equal measure. The intricate world-building, complete with maps and unique terminology, immerses you fully, though it can sometimes feel overwhelming with the sheer amount of detail.
That said, this book isnโ€™t for the faint of heart. The content warnings are there for a reason, and the graphic depictions of violence and non-consensual elements were difficult to read at times. However, these scenes arenโ€™t there for shock value; they serve to deepen the storyโ€™s exploration of pain and healing.
At its core, this book is about resilience. While the darkness is heavy, the moments of light shine even brighter. Itโ€™s the kind of book that stays with you, challenging your comfort zone and leaving you pondering long after youโ€™ve finished. If youโ€™re a fan of dark fantasy with moral complexity and emotional depth, this might just be the book for you.

ARC REVIEW
This book was everything and more of what i imagined. Haera and their story was beautifully told so well. From the beginning sentence to the ending ;i was captivated and at a loss of words. I couldn't put it down once i started. Someone who believes their not worth loving and a god who loves them more than life itself : The biblical representation was beautiful. This book was in a way a short read to me. I honestly can't put how i feel in words or how wonderful this book was. It's beyond wonderful . I was so happy when she mended the relationship between the brothers so much; The betrayal stung so much and i was beyond shocked. I can't wait for the next book and the explore this universe again. The spice and tension 4.

I received an ARC in exchange for an honest review.

Miss Valaine created a new world interweaving greek mythology and theology. The way she has done this is in my opinion truly masterful.

I will be focusing on how this read made me feel. In building her world she introduced new language to set the stage. It took me some time to truly understand this which made the first 20% a bit slow for me. BUT once it clicked for me, I got immersed in this world.

I truly felt the anguish and despair of the FMC and understood her fears. Then she had the forming of the relationship between the FMC and MMC, but also the familial relationships.

She made me feel and get a true understanding of the intricacies of the relationship(s). And the weight of the position each god holds and how it effected them.

When I finished this read I was left on a high, this read was worth my investment of time and would do it all over again.
