This is not my favorite book of Christine's. I was excited for a spin off-ish series to the Drake Sisters Series as that was my favorite series by her, but this one didn't live up to what I hoped. I will still read the following books as I love this setting. Maybe it's that I didn't connect with the characters, I don't know - but for me this one was just ok.
I liked this continuation of the Sea Haven story. There was one part that didn't make sense to me. There was a big time jump that didn't see like a time jump at the time and I got confused.

Another superb novel by Feehan, although this novel has reminded me that I still have a couple of Drake novels to read. I'd alread read the second instalment of the Sisters of Heart series and I have to say that I prefered Rikki's character and story (but Judith's was also enjoyable). The suspense was good and kept the novel moving. It had some moments of predictability, but that didn't hinder the experience of this novel. A definite read for those who want to stay in Sea Haven just a little longer.
This book was SO bad! The only reason I read it was to fulfill a task requirement for a reading challenge I'm doing (an author who shares your initials). It was a ridiculous premise and very patriarchal. Will definitely never read her books again!
Really enjoyed this book. Wasn't quite what I expected. Liked the that she was so snarky and not what he expected. Enjoyed that he showed more than one side with her. Some twists and turns wasn't expecting. Will be rereading the next book to see what happens. This was a stand alone book, so don't need to but want to.
This first book in a series established an interesting world. I have learned I am not a huge fan of amnesia stories, but I was able to enjoy the connection between the characters, and the smut was great! Looking forward to continuing.
She really outdid herself with this one, I really felt everything these characters were feeling. Rikki is such an amazing character
So, I'm not really a big Christine Feehan person. I think her plots and characters are really overwrought. However, I did like having an autistic heroine who is truly a heroine. I really didn't like the hero and his horrible backstory. There was zero world building in this book, probably because the author assumes you've read the Drake books, which I have not. Not a fan. However, I found the book compelling and I read it all. So, probably won't read more of Feehan but this is pretty good, just not my thing.
