Read while super sick. Large Print while my eyes and nose were running. The raunch kept me reading! Unique plot. Unique characters for this genre.

I went into this book knowing what it was. I knew I was getting a smutty book. So that’s not what bothered me about it. As a matter of fact, the smut was done well which is why I didn’t rate it lower.

The book was good enough to finish, but I felt the chemistry between the characters was not great. I also really found Nolan annoying. I can’t say why exactly. Maybe he was childish?

As for the writing, it was so-so. Some of the phrases or words used made me laugh out loud when that wasn’t the intention of the author.

2 stars.

I’m struggling to put my finger on why I didn’t like this book but I really didn’t like this book very much. This book was just so predictable. The secret always going to come out. Nolan was always going to do the right thing and there was always going to be a way they all lived happily ever after and I just didn’t believe any of it. Which left me sitting around, for 418 pages no less, waiting to see if the way we got there would at least be creative. Spoiler alert. It wasn’t.

I did love the body positivity and second chance come backs but mostly I was just bored.

Although Christmas Notch is a place I definitely want to visit. It is right up my Christmas living alley. All these Christmas books are making me ready for Christmas. I can’t wait! But I think I will be moving away from Christmas books now. I haven’t had a great run of them this year.

I have a lot of problems with this book. I really wanted to like it, but I’m so glad it’s over.

*massssssssive spoilers ahead*

Nolan and Bee are insanely toxic for each other. She likes him because he was in a boy band. He likes her because he watches her porn. A match made in heaven *eye roll*.

The spice was fine too. Nothing special, which also shocks me since she’s in the industry and he’s know for being a “f*ckboy”. The things Bee and Nolan said were insanely repetitive too. My “favorite” is the mention of the gingerbread lotion. We get it.

I also did NOT like the end, where Nolan basically claims he didn’t know about her past & tried to save his career while screwing hers up. Are you joking?! That rubbed me the wrong way so badly, and the fact that she just forgave him so easily made me cringe.

All the side characters were insanely irrelevant too. I didn’t want to hear about their drama either.

It was all a mess and it way unnecessarily long.

Almost dropped it another star because of the public declaration of love. This was one big cringe fest. Also there is no way you could hide being a pornstar ??? The premise made no sense
